Award-winning Australian artist Zoe Young will unveil her ‘Salt Life’ collection of paintings for the first time in Thailand at the opening exhibition of the Baan Kata Arts Fest on January 23rd.
Held at Mom Tris Villa Royale on Phuket’s Kata Noi Beach, this year’s theme is in remembrance of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol’s love of music and arts. Now in its 19th year, this art festival brings together a wide array of artists and musicians.
Zoe Young will be meeting guests in person at the gallery during the opening cocktail reception, which begins at 6pm. Through her use of pastel tones and dramatic shadow, Zoe’s still life compositions reflect an emotive response to the environment in which she paints.
In addition to her painting exhibition, there will also be a classical music concert by Pro Musica Ensemble at 7pm.
